It's wonderful! Very friendly staff and has anything you might want or need.
Love everything about Freds, including the cute gift shop, ski shop, their deli and they have all your last minute things that you either forget packing or the grocery store. If Freds don't have it, you don't need it!!

When we are at Beech Mountain we like to have lunch at Fred's Backside Deli. It is convenient to have grocertes and other necessities on the mountain. Also nice to see neighbots there and the friendly staff. It wouldn't be the same on Beech without Fred's.
Awesome local place to pick up last minute supplies, rent gear or enjoy one of the best breakfast deals on the mountain! Always have to stop when we visit, even on the day trips!
Love Freds!!! We stop everytime we are at Beech, have been coming here for over 20 years...for the Breakfast and sometimes just to look around.. super friendly people... great food.. awesome store!!!
Great store and restraunt. I have been there bout 5times, go every time i am in town. Always find something to buy, staff is great.
A magical place in the mountains...if Fred doesn't have it you don't need it!
Love Fred and Marge and all the wonderful people who work there. You don't have to leave the mountain. Fred's has it all and also a great deli and music in the summer.
