BEST CUT AND COLOR – Last week I went to Frederic Fekkai for the first time and I had the most amazing experience. Jacklyn did my color and Amy cut my hair and It never looked better. Everyone was friendly from the housekeepers to the managers. The salon was beautiful and I highly recommend anyone to go. I know I will be returning for sure!!!

Terrible Experience... – I am someone who has gone to some of the best salons in the city and I would have to say that despite the lovely decor at Fekkai the service was the worst and the color job I had done was not worth the money. I would also advise that you ask about additional charges as they truly nickle and dime at this salon which is surprising for an upscale salon. I paid $2.75 for a diet coke which was offered to me..and then after recieving a terrible blowdry by my colorist assistant I was also charged. I really ... read more

Eyebrows – The best brow waxing I have ever had is with Manana, recommended to me by a friend. She is no nonsense about her job, arches beautifully and cleans up your brows to perfection. She's a "senior eyebrow specialist", which is a snooty way of saying you'll pay around $50; however, brows can make a face, and she is the best!!!

Wake up idiots! – You people are soooo stupid. The place is most likely full of good stylists- it is the business that is at fault. They run on 15 minute appointments for a haircut- stylists ideally work on hourly appointments. That is why you are rushed, get dodgy service and why they are always running behind and are stressed. A famous UK stylist married an American and went to work there- stayed for a day and walked, she was used to having hourly appointments. You get pampered, no rush and a magic haircut. This person has... read more

best salon in NY! – I went to Frederic Fekkai for the first time about six months ago. I recieved great service and a fantastic haircut from Giovanni. He was proffesional and not to mention very handsome. Since then I have returned several times to both the 5th avenue and soho locations for blowdries. I reccomend Nicole in Soho and Hana in 5th ave for great blowdries. I read all the other reviews on here and I think everyone doesn't know good hair when they see it. I have had nothing but great service from everyone in both l... read more

go elsewhere – I gave it an extra star because of the free apple. I had a manicure scheduled with Alexandra and not only did they forget about me, I sat there for an hour and a half and no one asked me if I needed anything. Ultimately they made me leave without my manicure because Alex was already booked!!!!!!!!! I told them unless I get a gift certificate for a free manicure next time I could not come back, They said no, but they could give me a free bottle of Hair Shine worth about 10 bucks...gimme a break.

Awful Experience – I have been desperately searching for a hair cut in NYC ever since I moved here about one month ago. I have heard mixed reviews about Frederic Fekkai, but they had convenient hours, and I know the salon is very reputable, so i figured, it couldn't be bad. When I got there, I told my stylist exactly what I wanted and it seemed like we were on the same page. They spent about 4 minutes washing my hair...and about the same time cutting it...all while I was standing up. After all was said and done, I was $200 d... read more

Soho Salon – Every POOR review is CORRECT. I have NEVER in my life (of salons) been treated so badly and my hair is a mess. I went to the Soho salon and have been going to Jamie. He had me in tears and burnt my hair.

Not worth Half the [price – This is not worth themoney. My friend and I went for haircuts with Mia. We were scheduled for appointments one after the other. it became a disaster. She didnt listen to me when I told her i wanted anew style and described it to her very clearly. She cut it the same way but at the same time she was trying to finish my friends. So she became overwhelmed very quicklly as she was falling behind. It was lik she was paniced, The more crazy she got the worse the haircut became. This is the worst cut i ha... read more
