Asked for directional toyos to be put on some new rims I purchased, and not only did they put the tires on wrong, but they didn’t replace the valve stems. So when I went to put the wheels on my car, all of the tires were flat and I noticed that 2 of them had tread facing in the wrong direction. Terrible work
RecommendedAfter dropping my daughter off at her dorm on a Sunday, I discovered that I had a flat tire. I'm not from the area; so I didn't know about Mavis. I had called some other places first and nobody had an opening. A local resident suggested Mavis on 6th Ave and not only did they get me in; but they were timely! You have no idea how thankful I was! The young lady at the counter and the technician were also very helpful and friendly!
RecommendedAbsolutely astounding service! I repeat absolutely astounding service. I called and spoke with Sherwin for availability for a tire rotation, was briefly put on hold and then told we can squeeze you in this afternoon. I was greeted promptly upon arrival. During the inspection, I mentioned I had a slow leak on one tire. They told me it would be done in an hour. An hour later (on the nose) it was done. What started out as a seemingly good experience with Mavis, turned into a headache. We took our Nissan there on Saturday 8/15 to get a balance and alignment. This was a last resort and a huge mistake on our part. They finished our service just before closing and we went to pick up the vehicle and drove straight home. We drove less than 30 miles between then and yesterday before noticing a quite alarming sound. It sounded as if something was caught in the tire. RecommendedI took my truck to Tuffy knowing I would need a new muffler, and possibly a whole new exhaust. Brian COULD HAVE charged me $1000 for a new exhaust and sent me on my way but instead he told me, unfortunately, it really wasn’t worth fixing— that I’d have many more issues to come, and that if it was him he’d just drive it, as is, until it died. It was obviously not the diagnosis I wanted to hear, but I’m SO incredibly thankful that he operates with honesty and integrity. I’ll never go anywhere else.
