The name of this restaurant has nothing to do with actual people named Frankie or Johnnie, in fact the words are old passwords between revelers and managers during Prohibition. 'Frankie' was used at the door, and if the reply was 'Johnnie', the drinking could start. The most absolute best steak and sides like the old days.....drinks are awesome....service is perfect...delicious......
Visited during restaurant week in January 2018 and our meal was great. Salmon, steaks, and pork chops were very good and service was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Read reviews they were mixed. We decided to try it because of convenience and proximity to our hotel. Boy are we glad we did. It was restaurant week and we ordered of the price fix menu. We both had surf and turf with asparagus and baked potato with bread pudding for dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection. Very good cut of meat. Service was tremendous. Wine recommendation from waiter was also outstanding. Manager and waiter even took time to speak with us about wines and their cellar. Overall a great dinning experience... read more
Great service. Have the Malbec...food was good. A little pricey but hey, that's the city. I must mention again the service. There when you needed something but not intrusive.
Très belle soirée de la Saint Sylvestre. Des plats superbes, le sirloin steak incroyable, le filet mignon magnifique. Les serveurs super sympas Bravo.
Excellent would definitely go again. And definitely recommend to my family and friends.
