'Frankie' was used at the door, and if the reply was 'Johnnie', the drinking could start. Excellent food, and a lot of it. The owner or manager - not certain what he was - was very friendly and visited several times with us. On the other hand, out waiter had no time for us. Never asked us how everything was, never asked us if we needed anything else, never asked us if we needed refills, never asked us a thing or checked back with us. Too bad about the servicer as the food was wonderful.

My steak was a little tough, but only mine. Everyone else loved theirs. The sides were excellent and the service was average. I would go back if others wanted to.

Love the atmosphere! Service and food were excellent. The Prix Fixe menu was very affordable considering typical NYC prices.

Spiro took care of us at the bar , Old School Italian guy, moxy. The Sepia tones made the atmosphere rustic. Blue Cheese Olives in my martini. Delicious shrimp , delicious clams, delicious sliders. Charming place . Can't wait to go back and have a steak.
