Dr. Fetterolf is a rare type of physician who works to combine theory, research, and client preferences for individualized, patient-centered care. Always on time, patient, and knowledgeable, he is willing to put in the extra groundwork to identify the root cause of psychiatric concerns thereby avoiding unnecessary labels and over-medication. He has a unique ability to connect with patients which makes working through challenging topics more comfortable. He is flexible and competent enough to make accommodations or shift focu... read more
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Frank’s for several years, and I can honestly say he’s one of the few psychiatrists who has truly taken the time to understand me—not just my symptoms. He’s thoughtful and direct. I don’t quite understand some of the negative reviews. While everyone’s experience is different, I wonder if some of that frustration comes from being confronted with difficult truths. Growth isn’t always comfortable, but I’ve found Dr. Frank to be genuinely invested in helping his patients become their best selves.
Highly recommend Dr. Fetterolf. He is open minded and if I disagree with him on something, he will hear me out and adjust. He truly listens to me and also treats me like a real person. Some of these reviews say he is too casual, for me his manner makes me feel very comfortable and seen. He's also very insightful and good at explaining things in a simple, understandable way.
After one appointment where we talked exclusively about chronic depression, SA, and anxiety, he started my second appointment asking if I'm 'a little aspy'. I kid you not. I truly have no idea where he came up with that. He also mis-remembered what I'm most anxious about and when he finally remembered, he basically cheered for himself. He smiles when talking about the most awful things.Awkward, unprofessional, unprepared.
He listens attentively and succinctly ascertains the core of the situations I describe and is able to reflect them in a new light.
Nice enough, probably well intentioned but for the seriousness of the subjects being discussed he seems inexperienced and a bit too casual.
Arrogant and unprofessional, inexperienced
Arrogant, Unprofessional and inexperienced, uncaring
Just had my last appointment with him a couple days ago. He was very rude and dismissive over my issues, loves to talk to constantly prove his point and ego and not get into med discussions, very condescending and judgmental, never bothers to think where he is wrong. Find a better psychiatrist that does not stick to fixed ideas formed by his own misconceptions. He is the definition of the word dense
