Fr8star made the bidding process extremely easy to find someone to haul my load. We went with Dapa Trucking, their driver was on time, respectful and very helpful.
Fr8Star made everything easy and even had a friendly AMERICAN representative call me throughout the week with suggestions of reputable shippers.

The way they have things set up, customer that has approved a broker or carrier to haul the load, deposit goes directly through their site, bypassing FR8star account directly to broker/carrier account. They then take money out of their account for 20% of the load. This money goes directly to them for their site fees. If a customer chooses to back charge for say a discrepancy on the dimensions, customer gets the money back, and FR8star keeps their 20%. Now the broker has been charged at least 40%.
