About this business

It is hard to describe this resort in a few words, but it is billed as the largest gaming facility in the world, and was New England's sole casino until competitor Mohegan Sun opened in 1996. The action at the Foxwoods Resort Casino starts with five casinos boasting 5800 slot machines and 350 gaming tables. There are 1400 luxury hotel rooms at one of the casino's many hotels, 24 restaurants, a golf course, and a concourse of specialty shops. Staff was friendly. Rooms are way overpriced, just average for what they charge Casinos are way too smoky. Only have one smoke free casino with not a lot of variety of machines, don’t have any of the interactive like ghostbusters, Tim McGraw. Disappointing Food at the red lantern was outstanding and service was great Doubt I would go back.

I want to know what makes them think they can charge $500/night for a room. If you're not a "high roller" you're pretty much kicked to the curb. I don't want to spend my money on a room, I'd rather spend it gambling. I hope MA and NH realize how much revenue is made on building Casinos in our states so this place will feel the pain...it's ridiculous
