Starting off, I was so excited to move into Skyline. Everything seemed too good to be true... Until my first 48 hours of living here. Long story short. I’ve had to put in 12 maintence requests in only 2 months of living here. Everyday it is something new. Yes, they do get fixed within a reasonable time, but WHEN does it stop? Unfortunately I rented from this organization which unfortunately has rentals in several states. What I found after moving out was that for one, the company obviously felt no sense of urgency to return the deposit (what was left of it). In fact I waited over three weeks before the check arrived. Second, even though I did the honest thing and pay the remainder of my lease when I was deployed suddenly, still they charged me for pet rent and other misc. fees even though the apartment stood vacant. Charged on move out expenses which were incorrect and threatened to send me to collections after I disputed charges which were frivolous. Also charged for the entire apt vinyl flooring including flooring with no damage. When I continued to dispute they tore the floor themselves to obligate me to pay.
Weidner Homes is advertising their A1 floorplan one-bedroom apartment at Sonoma Landing in Gilbert, AZ, as 899 square feet--but they are including patio and an outdoor storage closet in that figure. Interior living space is about 800 square feet. Their online floor plan only includes dimension for three rooms, making it harder for potential renters to see this. Very misleading.
STEER CLEAR, folks. No joke. It's as stressful as it gets.
This companies attitude is just that of a business with a captive audience, if you don't like it then leave. As long as they pay all is well.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Management does not have the best interest of its tenants at heart. Company is looking for any and every way to charge tenants during the move out process. High turnover rate so expect to deal with many different leading agents who all say different and contradicting things. Property manager is rude, unprofessional, and money hungry. Have never dealt with such difficult and cruel individuals in my life.

Poor service from staff and they rip you of your deposits. They take advantage of young renters, military members and pet family's. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Worst experience with living situations, worst 11 months of my life!

To Whom it may concern, The residents were charged accurately based on the condition of the apartment after move out. Per the onsite teams and carpet cleaning vendors assessment, the carpet was in need of a pet seal due to the damages caused by the pet, the total cost of the pet seal was $140. Weidner Apartment Homes purchased ******** ***** ********** from ******** *********** ***** in Tulsa approximately two years ago. I have lived in my unit for nearly three years. Since Weidner assumed ownership, the physical facilities have not been as well maintained as they were by the previous owner.
