This is an apartment complex. They refuse to make repairs. Our door lock has been broken for almost a year, it's a fire/safety issue. The toilet needs fixing. The security doors are all broken yet they raised our rent $60. They do not answer the phones and rarely even respond to a message. Can you help? Thank you.

When we first moved in here, there was a leftover small ***** infestation from the previous residence but we weren't in a position to delay our move in, so the complex agreed to give us some compensation off our first month's rent for the problem. They ended up only giving us $300 off, and we were told by the office that they had already set up an appointment with a pest control company from them to come out and spray our kitchen one more time to get rid of the last of the roaches. The following is concerning the Capitol Towers apartment complex managed by Weidner in **********************. 1: Cockroaches: The building has been infested for months. Some residents have been sprayed half a dozen times and others not at all. A spray of the entire building should have been conducted but never was, likely in an effort on Weidner's part to save cost. My roommates and I have been at ******* Towers for less than 2 months, only to be met with difficulties. When going through the application process, it seemed as though no one was ever in the office because the phone would ring and ring and ring, and when sone finally picked up, the person running our application was was never in the office. Waited weeks to find out if we were approved. Was given a 4-day heads up that we were approved before move-in. The complex started a "Valet Trash Pick Up". Location was ideal and availability was great at the time. That said, when we moved in the apartment was not cleaned, carpet was disgusting and dirty. They sent the cleaning person back to my apt only to literally grab a dirty rag and under my watch drag the filthy rag across the counter and left. I reported but of course that got deleted from my account portal. Also, my original list of issues with the apartment was altered and not even in my original handwriting. I was helping my son find an apartment in ********** near his workplace. The Capital Towers had a listing for a 1 bedroom 1 bath available to move in on 10/20/2021, rent $1535 for a 9 month lease. Based on our needs my son did an application for the apartment for $45.00 and I did an application as a cosigner for him (as he had no rental history) for another $45.00. I have lived in my apartment for 16 years and in the last couple of years the service has gone down hill. It is now at the point where the management, this includes the area manager, pick and choice what rules they enforce and who they enforce them on based upon who they like. This childish behavior reminds me of the games teenagers play. Riverside apartment in Tarpon springs **. Be aware that this company is the worst to deal with. The administration *****. First of all they have the online aplication for these apartments and they dont specify that are low income restrictions. I did call to see if they have any 2 beds available but they never mentioned about it. So i did my aplication and I put down a deposit for 300. Run from this apartment complex,maintenance is non-existent, trying to get hold of the staff is like pulling teeth,and if you do move in here,make sure yout neighbor isn't a psycho, whivh they did not forwarn me about,and they didn't mention all the hidden fees on the lease rent was supposed to be 720 a month,instead the rent was between 800 and 900 a month,and they also forgot to mention the pool would be closed all summer,very dis honest people, iam so happy to be leaving this dump.
