Upon first move in I was deceived into spending more than initially told. They said the "cutoff" date was before I signed but they apparently didn't know that when I first spoke to them so it took two separate payments and a lot of stress on move in day because at that point I had no where else to go. Amanda the property manager is completely unprofessional. When the back door to our apartment was broken into, she did not file a police report or take the matter seriously. She told me that she would break my lease that day if I wanted to instead of being apologetic and working towards a solution. I was the only one to bring up the idea that maybe my belongings aren't safe and that I will install a security camera. She provided no apologies or solutions at all. They have a very crappy manager they are disrespectful yet they expect respect from all the tenants if they don't get that they turn things off they make so you can't use things if it doesn't go their way it's the highway but when it's the other way around it screw us as tenants

Upon move-out of my short-term, 3-month lease I was charged for professional cleaning services (not in the lease) and painting. Nothing had been hung on the walls or damaged. When I reached out to the office they told me the apartment had to be professionally cleaned "because of COVID" but could not provide me anything in the lease to support that, nor could they provide me any proof that painting or cleaning were necessary. So I was hoping to leave on a positive note like I had intended but I feel like this needs to be shared for future tenants...... my now husband and I have finally moved out of rio paradiso. I'm sure as you read through the reviews you will hear alot amount the maintenance issues you will find here but that should not be your biggest worry... I had to give 1 star so I can tell my experience with Accolade Apartments *** * **** ** ******* ********. I handled this on the phone 4 months ago...Everything was to go so we were on our way from Chicago to Phoenix. We were to be in Phoenix on May 18th when were to be at Accolade Apartments. Absolute worst management you can hope for. I contacted this place and was very interested in one of their units. While they said they will have a unit coming up available in a month. I called every single day and sometimes every other day and spoke to 2 of their employees, Marty and also Julisa. They kept telling me the occupants still haven’t turned in their keys. Worst apartment experience I have encountered. Ridiculous move out fees and wish I would of read these reviews before making this place my home. I lived at the Rivers Edge location in Lake Elsinore and many times when throwing out my trash there was a man sleeping in the dumpster.. neighbors always very loud on the stair wells past 1am, ridiculous fees for utilities that I have never seen so high for a tiny 740sqft one bedroom apartment!
