My experience with this property has been incredibly disappointing. Over the past year, the management of the property was consistently poor. Common areas are frequently neglected, with trash buildup and dirty floors being the norm. The trash chute was often so backed up that residents were forced to leave garbage on the floor. Safety is also a major concern; following a shooting on the property in early March, communication was nearly non-existent. Worst apartment complex. They will randomly decide one day to make a parking spot VIP (there $50 a month parking pass to have a specific spot). It seems more spots become VIP every week. Then when you accidentally park in one they tow you and use the most expensive tow service (B an G) which cost us $500 to get our car out. I’ve been towed in Birmingham and it usually costs about $200 but foundry feels that they need to use people that charge criminal rates. Do not recommend living here to anyone.
I have lived in this apartment for two years, and I can say that the previous management team was much better than the current one. This property has ongoing issues, including frequent noise problems between neighbors, train noise, leaks, parking issues, gate malfunctions, entrance door problems, and elevator breakdowns. I toured a 1BR/1BA and 2BD/2BA with Malika M - she was wonderful; very knowledgeable and accommodating - she handled a resident's inquiry while also facilitating the tour with myself and another potential tenant. 6 stars for her. This apartment was top 5 for me; fortunately I was able to find a place at a more sensible base price, specials, and all of the specs I wanted (balcony, pool, washer/dryer, upper floor, ceiling fans, etc.).
