Simply one of the best places in DC. The staff is attentive, and makes real reccomendations, and have always been spot on for my tatses. Their bartending staff is extremely knowledgeable, and makes a perfect drink. Their prices are really reasonable for the quality of food/portions. Make sure to save room for dessert. Get reservations though because you will wait a long time otherwise.
Service is super slow. It took them an hour to serve our orders while others who which is behind us got theirs early
I had breakfast at the bar since there was an hour wait but we actually ended getting called for a table in about 15 minutes! Service was great & the food was too. I don't usually care for chicken & waffles but the chicken is actually very well seasoned! Well worth the drive into the city!!

Food was simply divine and the cornbread is the best I've ever had. The waiter was pleasant and helpful. This was my second visit and will definitely be back whenever I'm in DC.
