2 eggs were good but the 2 over cooked slithers of bacon were not. 2 measely pieces of toast and a slice of cold tomato. What makes this place so special? I think if you just want pancakes it might be worth the money if you want bacon and eggs don’t bother. My tip... go to the Lombardy Hotel for breakfast just across the street!
We started with the devilish eggs. My husband and I had salads & my son had the fried chicken with waffles. It was delicious.
Being from the country in Texas I found it funny that they want to look country. They missed the mark there. However the shrimp and grits was wonderful. Throwing in the andouille sausage was a great option. I don’t recall what my wife had but also don’t recall any complaints from her either. Great place to eat.
Great food, excellent hospitality and atmosphere
Yesterday we discovered Founding Farmers in Washington DC, and it was extraordinary! The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and a delight. We sampled a wide range of entrées, from wild-caught Atlantic Salmon, prime rib, roasted chicken and a decent Poke (poh-kee) bowl, all accompanied by a tasty array of side dishes. The manager surprised us with a slice of the best cheese cake you can eat outside of New York City. Learning about the amazing Founding Farmers backstory completed our family's experience. Check this place out!
