Contracted with Foundation Recovery Systems to raise our porch slab to remove a tripping hazzard, the salesman/tech assured us that the job would only take two to three hours, do no damage to any of the surrounding brickwork and siding. The workers who tried to lift the slab were unable to do so, they said this was common, if we had been told this we would not have contracted to have the work done. Brandon and his crew based from the Lees Summit location were great. Our project was completed as promised with no hidden fees. They arrived on time each day, and left the site neat and tidy at the end of the day. They were courteous and professional, and worked in our narrow crawlspace with what seemed like great ease. AFS was hired by my father as a Christmas present to correct the flooding in my basement and began work in early 2021. The first crew that came installed a new sump on the wrong side of the basement, hence the first time we received a large amount of rain after the project was complete, the basement flooded just as it had before. AFS was contacted, a second crew was sent out, and the sump was relocated to the proper area of the basement which happens to be on the opposite side. Doug, Arkadius, and Sam came out and replaced a large number of dry rotted floor joists in my crawlspace. They were courteous and professional - and a pleasure to talk with. They did an excellent job, and cleaned up the debris in the area very efficiently.
