Growing up in Shanghai, China and living in Vancouver, British Columbia brought about the beginnings of Lucy Yong's love for authentic Chinese Cuisine. After moving to Dallas, Lucy dearly missed her favorite Chinese specialties she had loved so much. Lucy dreamed of bringing the real thing to DFW and decided she must make it happen. Everything I've had is fantastic....it's addictive and I very frequently will drive about 100 miles (round-trip) just to go.
I had a pleasant dining experience. (I am visiting from Michigan, so my choice was rather random). I chose this restaurant purely from my proximity at the time and YELP. Fortune House is bigger than it appears out front. It is very clean, with nice decor. I had egg drop soup, spring roll and orange chicken. The presentation was nice and the meal was very tasty.

We tried it and loved it. The steamed juicy dumplings are the bomb. Look forward to trying new dishes in the future. Very authentic Chinese food.
