Established in 2007, Fort George Brewery and Public House is housed in a 1924 automotive warehouse. It is among the biggest breweries in the state. Due to its popularity, it soon expanded into the nearby Lovell building. Their brew is available only in selected states, so if you are in town, don't miss to visit this affable, family-friendly brew-house. Anyone that doesn’t give this place 5� is wrong the beer and food are equally terrific, definitely try to poutine if it’s available and the Popeye pizza out of this world
Friendly service! Beer was good, salad was good, fries would’ve been good if they weren’t served cold....
This was our second time visiting Fort George. We stopped at Bouy Brewery before coming there for dinner. Great selection of beers as expected. We both had Mac N Cheese, his with bacon and onions mine with sausage and sweet peppers. Both were good could have used a little more cheese. Love the atmosphere and our bartender was great.
All around Great food, beer, environment and amazing staff really make you feel at home!
Really glad we popped in here last week for an early dinner. The best US-produced poutine I've ever had, and the albacore fish and substitute-salad was great. When it became obvious that the dinner crowd was rapidly growing and we were ready to leave, another server swooped in and took our credit card. I can't wait to go back!
So, we came here after a mixed experience at Buoy Brewery the day before. This doesn’t have the view but WAY exceeded expectations and the experience at the other place. Food and service is far superior. The vortex chicken sandwich was, according to my husband, “the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life”. Morrison (?) was a great server. Fun place that serves great food and beers 🍻! The staff is friendly and attentive, and accommodate your dietary restrictions! I loved the coffee stout and the oyster po boy I ordered! I highly recommend this place and look forward to going back!! Cheers 🍻
