old Hollywood at its finest. Yummy food, great ambience.
'Grand Opening' had it's typical foibles. Long wait for food (even though we had the first of the night reservations). Cocktails were OK. Service was subpar. Just sit at the bar and get a drink before ya go somewhere else. It's a stunning piece of Hollywood history that deserves better service than this. Sure, it looks beautiful, but they shouldn't stop there. Hope they don't fall victim to the 'Clifton's phenomenon'.
The new Formosa Cafe is more beautiful that I could have imagined it to be. Every detail is perfect, and the food and cocktails were delicious! I’m a huge fan! Try the Singapore Sling! 💕
I was lucky enough to visit this place on the new opening night. It's sublime. In Los Angeles, it's rare to feel like you're stepping back in time to something unique. This place nails it. Opium den meets diner meets brothel. Immaculately curated music. Well done.
