I have family that just had the misfortune of having to put down a beloved family member due to cancer. The vet Frone? DID NOT!!! calculate properly the necessary dose for the procedure, which by the way isn't that what you went to F--king vet school for?!?!?! So while they were correcting this miscalculation, my families dog came to a realization of what was happening and began to shake and fight it's own immortality until the vet returned to finish the process.
