Very thorough, informative, and caring! Downside, took two hours but worth it! Very happy to have a great clinic and caregivers for my fur babies!
We scheduled our first appointment with this clinic and they forgot about my husband out in his car for over an hour with both our dogs. When I called to ask why he wasn’t seen the front desk was VERY VERY VERY rude, placed me on hold for 4 minutes for no reason and was mad at me for being upset my husband and dogs sat in the car for an hour. I would go anywhere but here.
They always have emergency appointments available and are so wonderful to work with. I'll never go anywhere else!! Very thankful that I found them.
After hearing my dad recount the horrific manner that is 16 year old dog was euthanized at the hands of one of the vets at this clinic, I’m disgusted. I’ll spare the details within this review because I’m sure it will make you cry, and be angry, as it did to me. This has been our primary vet back when Dr Bill was alive, and I will never take my precious babies to this clinic ever again. They should be ashamed with how they handled this entire situation, Smarty didn’t deserve that.
My sweet boy Tank was dieing of a ruptured splein and they dropped everything to help him. Even though we had never been to forest valley they treated us like we were one of the family. They were so kind hearted to our sweet boy and doctor urquhart was very knowledgeable and willing to do what ever he could to help him. unfortunately Tank was laid to rest that day and words can not describe the sadness we feel from his passing. Arrived early this morning with 5 puppies for their first exams right as the power went out. The unflappable staff checked us in, along with everyone else who had appointments. Wonderful kind ladies who were waiting with their kitties each took a scared puppy and cuddled them for me. The vet and tech came out in the lobby and made a make shift exam area, used the light from the windows and did what needed to be done. Wonderful veterinary office with friendly and knowledgeable staff that talk you through your pet’s treatment and options. About average vet costs and somewhat long wait times, but it’s good they spend a thorough amount of time with each of their patients. I would highly recommend them to be your first stop when in need of vet care in the Cottage Grove area
