If you, like me, want a motel simply as a place to sleep for the night, a decent bed, a clean room and bathroom, and maybe a TV with a decent bunch of channels, the Foothills Inn is a good choice
I stayed in the Foothills Inn over two nights in May 2017. Rooms were clean and had all basic requirements. I found it hard to believe the rates were so low. If you are travelling and just need overnight accommodation this is hard to beat!
Stayed before tourist season kicked off and got a great price. Large, double bed room. Clean & quiet. Not the Waldorf but served its purpose. Great location close to everything. Staff was nice and simple breakfast items a nice touch.

Our room at the Foothills Inn was totally adequate for two nights. The room was fairly large, and clean. The breakfast was okay for two mornings. The best part of our stay was Laura at the front desk.
The price was what originally drew us to this hotel as a stop over on our way to Yellowstone NP. The room was really nice for the price and there was a continental breakfast aka microwavable jimmy dean sandwiches

When you see a motel whose rooms list for $32 a night, you'd expect kind of a dive, right? Not at the Foothills Inn! I got a ground-floor room with two queen-size beds for $42 -- with breakfast.
