The Royal Treatment – As a stylist myself, I know the importance of a great salon experience. Francesca and her team of assistants are experts at making you feel at home in the space and feel like you are getting the royal treatment. A real make-over!! – There is just amazing energy when you walk in the door. Photos of funky, fabulous looks that make you want to re-invent yourself! It's the only place I've ever benn comfortable saying "Do whatever you want" (even if I do slip in every once in a while that I "like" my hair long :) thanks Francesca!! And, Jenny was the first to finally find a good shape in my eyebrow for which I cannot thank her enough!

A Cut Above the Rest – Francesca has been my stylist since 2000. She was highly recommended by friends. I have long thick somewhat coarse asian hair, so my haircuts in the past tended to lose its shape after a few weeks. Francesca was the first stylist to tell me that my hair needed to be texturized or else it would be too thick and shapeless. Francesca uses a technique that allows more time in between cuts. Saved the day!! – There is a god...goddess of hair that is. I had my hair colored elswhere, not at all happy with the result so, I took it upon myself to by a box color, BIG MISTAKE!! I did my research and found Francesca...what a genius! She fixed it in less than 3hrs and it turned out to be exactly what I had in mind. Trust with your hairstylist – I have been having Francesca style my hair for 3 years, and would not trust anyone else to come near my head with shears. Where have they been all my life???? – I've lived in Philly 20yrs, FINALLY, a salon that knows the art of hair with no boundaries. Follicles Hair Salon – Bad cut, bad color. Very disappointed with the whole experience. Bold blonde streaks and a short bob looked horrible. The consultation was a joke. She doesn't listen, but instead takes charge and does whatever she wants. Sadly, none of it suited me. Once done, it's too late. Wouldn't be as bad if it didn't cost so damn much. After receiving highly rated reviews, this one has left us totally baffled. The client who posted this review received her service on April 30th '08. She left here with a big smile on her face and seemed very happy. Not only did she invest in home hair care products she also scheduled a follow up appointment, which she called 2wks later to move back . The client wrote a letter which was posted marked June 19th ..50 days after her service, I was in Europe from June 21st to July 7th, hence did not read the letter until July 8t... read more
She MAY (?) know what she is talking about, but you won't like how she says it. – If you like to pay $100 for a haircut, this is the place for you! Not to mention you have to pay to have her consult with you. And disagree with the "vision" she has of your hair during consulting, and pay you shall. Pay by enduring a tongue lashing only she could get away with (at least with some 5 star reviewers). WOW – After going through many new life transitions, I was ready for a new look and Francesca sensed my readiness to do something dramatic. So, following my consultation, she cut off more than 10 in.
