The best strawberry shortcake on earth! – I didn't know much about Fog City Diner before going, but it was one of the best meals I've had in SF since moving here 2 years ago. The ambiance is relaxed and friendly while the food (mostly unique versions of classic comfort foods) is divine...Especially the macaroni and cheese and the strawberry shortcake, which uses real bisquits just like it should be!
ValuRight – Great food, ambience,and price. Advise reservations,tho they will seat you without after a wait of 25 min. Seemed children-friendly, too.
Great, real food – This isn't the trendy stuff -- it's the classics all done quite well (meatloaf, fish and chips, burgers, etc.). The prices are a tad on the high side, but remember where you are and what you're eating. No room for complaints -- this is good stuff.
