With the exception, that the Dr has been helping, his office front desk girl needs some serious training in customer relations..although I don't know if you can teach compassion and empathy! Just got surgery,needed to reach out to him and he won't even make a phone call back to his patients (according to this lady that hardly helps there). Just left Dr. Elahi's office and I've never dealt with a more rude and unprofessional doctor. He was insensitive and sarcastic and even admitted that he couldn't explain the situation without being rude. When a doctor admits to rudeness that speaks volumes! I am advocating for my mother and I had every right to go find out why he inserted a spine stimulator in his back and took it out in less than 24 hrs when we were told it would be in the back for 5-7 days as a trial period. Currently seeing him in fair oaks. He is absolutely terrible. Can not even get a hold of him. When you do see him he gas lights you and doesnt listen to you or your pain. He honestly is too busy and is more interested in the amount of patients he sees then quality care. You can tell that by the wait time in the waiting rooms. He did my spinal stimulator and pain pump. And purposely detoxed me off my meds and I had a 102 degree fever and seizures while healing from a pain pump. He is awful.
I have degenerative disc disease, I have had a spinal cord simulator for about 5 years a year ago Foad added two wires and changed the battery. I'm still in pain it helps with about 60% of the pain. I'm still having pain. This guy wants to do more surgery and add a morphine pump. I'm tired of surgeries. I'm looking again for pain management.
The front desk is the worst. Not professional & rude. She needs to be working at Dollar tree or fast food.
