Seems my complaint is quite in line with others.I have had account for about 30 years . They just closed account due to account inactivity and said they sent notices. I only received the one in february of this year. I tried to use account but cards were expired Called to get new ones which were sent in mail at same time as account is closed. Had to have been marked for deletion. Missed one payment during a change of life event Oct 2020. FNBO took action ever sense. They have reduced two limits by over 60% and closed a credit line with a zero balance. I have owned and maintained these lines of credit for years! This has adversely impacted my credit score well over 30pts and they continue to attack! I happened to just take another reduction of $1200 on one of my unsecured lines again, without cause!
Got a call from a fraud prevention line rep called Rebecca, and she was very rude and unhelpful on the phone.
FNBO, in a nutshell stay away!! They have serious issues with online banking services. They choose to decline your payments without notification to the customer as to why. FNBO online just chooses not to pay it even tho money is in your account. Worst bank I've ever been with for online services, they have costed me money for the last time . I had a credit card with First National Bank of Omaha. I was sent a pre approval from them about a few months ago started using the card and paying it off every month in perfect standing and all of a sudden one day my credit card was closed with absolutely no explanation. Horrible customer service awful company.
I tried getting a credit card from First BankCard and was declined. I have an 833 & 832 credit score. I tried to contact them and they refused to let me speak with a supervisor. WTF - they told me that I didn't fit their credit criteria but couldn't tell me what the criteria was or what I did or didn't have to fit their credit criteria. What does a person have to do to get approved by this bank? Maybe it's because I pay off all my cards monthly and they don't think they will make money off me. Who knows...
This bank has no idea of customer service nor are they really interested in the consumer. This bank is run by a computer which is often inaccurate and there is no way to correct the inaccurate information it has. No one is really interested in helping you either. It's all about the money and how much they can screw you. Stay away from this bank!
I was a customer with them for 8 years, never missed a payment. 2 months ago they cut my limit by 2/3 for no reason. Their website wouldn't accept a payment so I decided to transfer my balance to another card. As soon as the transfer went through they closed my account. Garbage company with no ethics.
I have had the card for a few years, I got a little behind when my job deployed me to a different location. I'd pay what I could when I could. I got a letter saying dont let your account be charged off. Make a minimum payment. Which I did. I made a minimum payment for a few months, finally got my unemployment back pay.
