About this business

Dallas entrepreneur Shannon Wynne followed the success of his chic 8.0 bar with the Flying Saucer concept. Flying Saucer has an extensive menu of draft and bottled beers, plus an impressive collection of flea market vintage dinnerware displayed on its walls. Live music is found on weekend nights. Twas my first time here! Ambiance was perfect! Crazy beer selection! The wings and nachos were freakin amazing!! The wings had the right amount of buffalo sauce to wing ratio. Meaning very little mess and full flavor with every bite. The nachos had this chipotle sour cream that was on point!

I usually chill here after work and decompress. The staff are all incredibly nice and friendly, and the beer selection hasn't hurt me yet.

Good selection. Better than avg bar food. Great staff. Terrible TVs. Fix the TVs Captian Keith. TVs are ridiculously cheap these days and Black Friday just passed. I hope you bought a bunch.

After living in the area for a decade, I finally walked in here to try some of The Flying Saucer's selections. I had been to the location on Lake Ray Hubbard, which is obviously more scenic. But this is a fine beer emporium with a pub atmosphere. The service at the bar was attentive. The prices are quite reasonable for really excellent beers, ales, stouts, porters, barley wines, etc. from around the world. They have over 400 selections. If you try so many of them, you accrue certain benefits and honors. I will go back.

I would just recommend sitting at the bar and getting the service you deserve. All three of the waitresses has THE WORST ATTITUDE. The worst. I was just so frustrated at the service I let the waitresses know on the receipt how to implement customer service into her job. Complete disappointment.
