more than spicy sauce! – if you love meats, this is the place. from their italian sausage to the pepperoni, this is the place for meats piled on thick.
Thank heaven for Flying Pie! – It used to take an extra large to fill my husband up with pizza but at Flying Pie a medium does the trick! The pizza is so loaded with FRESH ingredients that we even have leftovers! We just moved in town from Sandy so now it is more than a once in a while visit!
Always tasty & filling – I've been eating here for over 15 years. This is by far the best pizza I've ever had.
Great Pizza,Great Atmosphere – This is by far the best pizza in Portland. It's a small place and crowded but that only adds to the atmosphere. The pizza ingredients that fall of of a Flying Pie Pizza is about what their competitors put on theirs. I give them an A++
Spend your money where it's appreciated! – Even though they make a good pie, they have a long way to go when it comes to customer relations. The last time I was there, and it will be the LAST time, an employee conveyed to me in a sarcastic manner that I should be thankful for having the privilege of being able to spend my money at their establishment. I related this incident to members of management. Their response can best be described as confused and indifferent, without the appropriate follow up.
I wanna sit on the ceiling! – This place rocks! The best seat in the house is the table attatched to the ceiling! Regardless of what toppings you choose from their wide variety, they put so much on you can't even see the heavy amount of cheese until you pull a slice off. Of course, there is no pizza without beer. They offer a limited, but great selection of local brews next to the crappy budweiser. As well, they have wine & pop. Unless you can eat like a horse, you WILL go home with leftovers and you WILL go home happy!
Yummy in the Tummy – Flying Pie Pizza is awesome!!! The toppings are quality and there's LOTS of them!! And tons of cheese! Its more toppings and less crust, unlike most pizza rip-offs around town and at chains. The atmosphere is fun and did I mention the pizza is TO DIE FOR?? Well, it is!! A trip across town for us to Flying Pie is SO worth it! Don't forget lots of napkins!

The poor endangered fresh ingredients – If you can smell cleaning products before the faint scent of yeast in a pizza establishment you are eating frozen, prepackaged, processed pizza. You might as well go to the grocery store. Flying Pie, has fresh hand tossed pizza's, you can watch, and you can taste the effort and quality w/ each mouth watering bite of cheesy, saucy, doughy goodness! It has a family fun friendly atmoshere, and lots of room for large gatherings. Plus an ample supply of the great northwests finest beers.
