RecommendedOur first visit to Riverside Animal Hospital was just over 3 years ago when Drogo decided to eat a bottle of my prenatal pills. I was in a panic because we just moved back to Flushing and hadn’t found a vet yet. I called to see if they would see him, they told me to come right over, and took him back right away. My 10 week old puppy started vomiting blood early in the morning. The vet we visited once was closed. We called 10 vets in the area and no one would fit him in because he wasn’t their patient. My daughter found Riverside Animal Hospital and without hesitation they told her to have me bring him in. They were kind and compassionate, diagnosed him in minutes and started treatment. Had I waited like another vet insisted I do he would have expired. Thank you Riverside Animal Hospital for saving Wilson!!
So, let me share my beautiful, wonderful experience. These professionals are top notch and do their jobs to 100% satisfaction. I have a pit mix and he needed to get a physical, exam, vaccines, medications and he needed to be neutered. Needless to say, I was so scared (first time dog owner). I took my new dog to Riverside when she managed to get a bar from her crate stuck between her toes. The staff was amazing and price was reasonable. They also caught an ear infection early and treated both ears.
I am a new puppy owner and the staff at Riverside have been exceptional. I have been able to ask numerous questions through Facebook! Advice has been quick and very helpful (especially from Katie!). Thank you Riverside for taking great care of my pup, and me!
I would absolutely recommend Riverside. I had an emergency one Saturday w one of my guinea pigs, and they were the only vet I could find open in our vicinity. We had never been there before. The office was clean and the staff was friendly. Dr. Farrar was kind and respectful toward me and my pet, and took my concerns seriously.
