We absolutely love Riverside!! Dr. Koan and Katie are as good as it gets as well as the rest of the staff. Both are so professional,caring, and compassionate about what they do. We have always taken all our dogs here and wouldn’t think of taking them anywhere else. We recently had to have a major surgery performed on our dog hip. I have known the Brown family for years, they are the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met, so it wasn’t a surprise when I took my energetic, husky puppy to Riverside and he was completely comfortable with the staff. They have been great with checking in on him, informing me and answering ALL my questions about my crazy boy. Thank you all so much for all your hard work and taking such great care of our boy!!
The vets at this clinic are AWESOME! We moved further away from them and still go there. I refuse to take my fur babies anywhere else! the truly care!
I brought my sick cat in today at 1 and didn’t realized they closed until 2 for surgery. They were so accommodating and got him in anyways and made sure he was taken care of. This is the only place I will be taking my animals now on. Thank you all 💛
They treat my babies( Nikita and Apollo) like family! Calls after they are closed and tells me whenever I can to bring them if my allergy prone Nikita needs extra help... Always grateful for them! Especially this past year with losing Scott they have been extra kind and always wanting to help no matter the time!

I've been trying to get in for weeks and have been discouraged by the long wait. It wasn't unusual to wait for 90min or more before covid but today I sat in the parking lot (why I can't wait at the house I don't understand... they call as you get within the hour anyway) for 3 full hours before driving away at 5:30 without having seen anyone. The parking lot was full of idling cars and angry people claiming they too are done with them.
So I’ve been going to Riverside for close to 20years you could say. When I was younger, this is where my parents chose to take our cats after a bad experience at another local vet. I no longer live in Flushing, I actually live over 35min away but you couldn’t pay me to go anywhere else. Dr. Brown had a way with animals that was unmatched by anyone else.
