Great Doctors, but be prepared to wait and wait and wait. Follow up visit taking longer than surgery.
Today was the day when Dr. Allen with Florida Vision Institute changed my life forever. Everyone believed in me, supported me even though I was beyond nervous, and walked me through every step of the way. I felt so comfortable in the OR, I was squeezing my teddy bear, and before I knew it I was done. I can’t thank everyone who helped me, their lasik supervisor Crystal is seriously outstanding, she made me feel so confident and comfortable I feel like I’ve known her for years. I HIGHLY recommend this facility for all of your eyeball needs. I finally decided to get lasik and the staff was phenomenal. I was super nervous and everyone was incredibly accommodating. I had to switch to PRK the day of surgery because it was a safer and easier option for me and it was a flawless transition. Dr. Belville and Dr. Lima are so professional and so comforting. My Lasik surgery yesterday was smooth and easy. The office was clean, a bit cold (as the laser apparently needs a certain climate to work properly) and the staff friendly. Dr's Lima and Allen displayed a great deal of patience and understanding, they are quick witted and friendly and offer genuine interest and care. Did I mention their patience? They have tons of it.
