John and his team were nothing short of marvelous for our family home. We needed 5 rooms, a hallway and stairs outfitted with new carpet. His estimator came by, was 1000% professional and very thorough. Then, the crew showed up and knocked the tear down and installation completely out of the park. They moved furniture, hustled and were efficient and professional. John called me multiple times to ensure we were happy and taken care of. Jamie and Dan were extremely helpful. We purchased flooring on three separate occasions. Each time we did an area, the house looked more beautiful. So glad we found Pape's.
The floors at first were great and then they weren’t. The wood is now separating. I have been trying to get them fixed for over 2 years and have been getting the run around. I had 2 different employees come to my house and see. They both admitted something was wrong and it needed to be replaced and now 2 years later still no replacement. These floors were 20k and I regret the decision to go with the company every day.
Terrible experience! Overcharged, and overestimated material. In particular, self leveler and LVP. They wouldn't take back the extra eighteen 50lb bags, and 3 boxes of LVP, leaving me stuck with extra material taking up space in my garage. Self leveler is $30 a bag, they charged me $50 a bag for 45 bags, and won't consider taking back the left over 18 bags!
