A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. Wow! Great first visit! I am amazed with the level of customer servicd given by Mike. He was very courteous and knowledgeable about the menu, made sure we were satisfied with our meals, and our glasses stayed at least 3/4 full. We will certainly be repeat customers! If you haven’t eaten here yet, you should! Our dishes were the hushpuppies as an appetizer, shrimp and grits, and blackened triggerfish. AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! Mike definitely deserves some recognition for going above and beyond!
Sat at the bar for happy hour and ended up staying for dinner. I had scallops-unbelievably delicious! My husband had the shrimp and grits and my daughter had the lowcountry seafood pasta. They both loved theirs as well. So glad we stopped in for happy hour!!
