A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. The oyster and grits appetizer was great, crab cakes not so great. Great atmosphere food could use some improvement

The fried green tomato stack is worth the drive alone, but add the shrimp & grits and you'll experience a little bit of heaven! My favorite Charleston restaurant!!
