A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. Great food, atmosphere & staff! Definitely recommend this Restuarant.
The food was delicious. Best shrimp and grits I've tried. I really enjoyed the herb crusted cod, also. Staff were friendly. View was amazing. If you sit outside, watch out for the birds!

We are in town visiting our son who's in the Navy and came across Fleet Landing. The gumbo and crab cakes were delicious, as well as the atmosphere and staff. Will be back tomorrow for lunch! Kudos to the chef; spot on!
