A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. Been a fan of Fleet for the better part of 15 years. Not once was I dissatisfied or disappointed. Working at a nearby hotel for about 7 yrs, this was the first recommendation when someone asked for really good seafood without breaking the bank, and not 1 bad review. The crispy flounder with apricot glaze and the calamari do it for me! AMAZING!!!!!!
Honestly the best place we ate while in Charleston this past week.
One of my favorite restaurants in Charleston. View is beautiful. Great for a family, or a group gathering. Food is consistently delicious every time I visit. Great service, and management is very responsive. Definitely make a reservation. Sometimes waits are long.
