A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. This was our first visit. We went for lunch in a Tuesday. I got a shrimp salad that was very tasty but the price was way to much for what you got. My husband got a chicken sandwich which was very dry. The atmosphere was great but doubt we'll be back on our next visit.

Fried seafood.was unseasoned: Oysters. Calamari, shrimp, and flounder. Blackened shrimp were pretty good.

Food was good ! Felt very rushed in service-hard to enjoy the dining experience when feeling like you're getting pushed out the door 😟 Heard it's also closing soon !!? Maybe that was why our experience wasn't comparible to people recommending this restaurant to .us .

My wife and I had visited Fleet several times several years ago and had great experiences. Therefore we were looking forward to a return visit. What a disappointment! The only reason we gave them a two is the she crab soup which was terrific. The stuffed hush puppies were dry and had one small piece of lobster in one of them. My wife's fried shrimp was mediocre at best. I should have sent my oyster po boy back.
