We had a annual service contract that included annual checks of our HVAC system. For the service appointment scheduled this week, a lead sales associate joined the tech and it just so happened that both our furnace and A/C unit needed to be replaced! Because the poor condition of our equipment was a health risk, but thank goodness we were contract customers so the job could be done for 10-17k! A technician from SERVICE EXPERTS was at my home yesterday to do the biannual maintenance on my AC, furnace & humidifier. He told me that I needed $4K worth of replacements for a 9-year-old, top of the line furnace & my AC unit. I replied that I'm not putting $4K into an old system that is always needing replacement parts. When I initially purchased the systems from them, I was told that they would last a good 15 years. We had a gas leakage problem with our fireplace which was originally installed by them. We called them to come and fix the problem. After three visits and charging us close to $500, the problem still exists. Do not recommend this company to anyone.

We had Bryant heating & cooling, lexington, install a 50 gal water heater by employee, willie. He did an excellent job. Very professional. He wore a mask during the whole process. Highly recommend

After making an appointment for the tank to be pumped between the hours of 10 am to 2pm i finally called at 2 pm and was told the crews would got delayed and would not be able to make it out. I spoke with the supervisor who said they would put a priority on the call and would be out between 8 am and 12 noon. Technician showed up @ 0930 and when I asked him to pump the tank (1000 gallon tank) so it was usable he then stated it would be $310 because it was full. They take advantage of the elderly! Senior Citizens BEWARE! Midway over charged 85 yr. old woman and left existing walkway broken and unstable. They drove their machine over it repeatedly which caused the stones to sink well below the ground level creating a roller coaster effect. They refused to bring in dirt to bring the walkway back to the level it was prior to their work. Salesman said he asked if there were any other family members who needed to be involved before signing the contract. That conversation did not happen! ... read more

Scam artists or lazy not sure - capatalizing on vulnerable situations. Had the city water service shut off due to a pipe break. Quote provided by Hammond told me the water meter needed to be moved in the basement to accommodate code and couldn't have a new line run to the existing location. After consulting both with city officials and the utilities this was not the case and completely un-necessary. I normally do not do this, but I have had enough of this with Strand. I had an appointment set for 2-4p on Thursday, and no one showed up. I later got a call asking if they can come a 4p. I could not be there are 4p, because I have to pick up my little one. They said they can move it to 6p. Of course I get a call that the plumber is there already (no heads up). The plumber takes a look at our toilet, says he knows what the problem is, and says he can come back on Friday(today) between 10a - Noon to work on it for us. No one ... read more
