Recently I was in U of F Flagler for an ordered sleep study. This test had improved over the years. Much easier to fall asleep. The staff was so attentive and understanding. When I woke up during the night to use the restroom the staff was there immediately! Hope I do not have to have another one, but if ever I do it will be in the U of F Flagler sleep lab! Thank you Flagler staff!
Very unpleasant experience. Bed/mattress was very uncomfortable - might as well have been sleeping on the tile floor. Significant light leakage into the room - not a dark & cool environment recommended for sleeping. Minimal sound deadening in the room - everything echoed. Very "hard" and "old" hospital room. No design intent for a purposeful/restful environment. The only favorable to the room was that it had its own full bathroom. Staff protocols do not support transition periods from wake to sleep.
