De. Fitzgibbons gave me medications that didn’t help my problems and were known to make them worse. He would yell at me in his office continuously saying how my mental illnesses are my fault and that I should grow up. He continuously and vigorously yell at me for odds and ends and never cared when I sat in his office crying because of him. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the care I receive from Dr. Fitzgibbons. He has been treating me for 10+ years and has shown me nothing but compassion and understanding. Dr. Fitzgibbons is very insightful about the origins of my condition which has helped me gain a better awareness about myself and steps I need to take to overcome a deeply troubled and complicated family system. He and his staff are exceptionally professional, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of good counseling.

My wife and I have been working with Dr. Fitzgibbons both individually and as a couple for a decade. Our marriage was on life-support when we began. Now, we couldn’t be happier and actually have served as part of a pre-Cana counseling team. Dr. Fitzgibbons takes a faith based approach to treatment which I suspect makes some people uncomfortable and therefore flee to a doctor who will impose no such expectations. Dr. Fitzgibbons has greatly helped me and my children over the past 5 years. Through the many difficult problems and circumstances that he has helped us through, the one thing that stands out the most is that he truley 'understands' our struggles and problems. He truely 'cares' and takes the time to help us work through them. His staff is also very kind and very accommodating with scheduling appointments. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of family counseling or emotional/psychological help.

I have been under Dr. Fitzgibbon's care since 2017. He is a kind, patient, and understanding psychiatrist--an expert in his field. I trust him as he continues to help me work through trauma. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Fitzgibbons has helped me so much to understand what PTSD is and where it's origins come from. He is compassionate and caring and I trust his advice. He brings God into our sessions which is very important to me as a Catholic. I am so glad that he doesn't delve too deep into my emotions. I would recommend him to others and have done so.

Dr. Fitzgibbons has been able to help me figure out things that I never understood about myself and their roots in my upbringing. Being aware of tendencies that I mirror from my father and also the source of family wounds that impact the relationship that I have with my children and wife along with practical advice in how to heal those wounds has been a great gift. I have seen Dr. Fitzgibbons several times over a five year period. I no longer have to see him, because of the success I have experienced through his therapy sessions. He was always professional, skilled in therapy, and very empathetic to my treatment. I would highly recommend him for anyone seeking truly effective psychotherapy.
