We hired them for my grandparents. There were many times shifts were not covered and our family was not informed. On two, possibly more, occasions their employees allowed my grandmother to fall and lay on the floor. She spent her dying days calling out "Help, please don't let me fall!" Once she was found laying on the bathroom floor in her own feces shouting for help. Aweful! If the problem was that they couldn't handle the situation they didn't inform the family.
I love what Firstlight is about! Caring and loving caregivers that go above and beyond for their clients! Couldn't ask for a better company to care for your loved one.
My father had knee surgery in Cleveland and we used First Light to get him home. The companion we got was awesome she was so friendly, nice, and helpful. Those days were definitely made easier and less stressful with the help of First Light. I would absolutely recommend First Light to anyone and would use them again myself if needed.
