Great doctors, horrible billing practices. SoFHA hasn't figured out how to do their patient billing yet. We are not a socio-economically-disadvantaged family, but inexplicably we have been discharged as patients twice for past-due balances, both under $100. At every visit, I have asked if we had a balance and been told "nope! you're good to go!" every time. I have paid my co-pays at every visit. Was told on Thursday that if my child still had a temperature and wheezing (after a week long battle of croup that turned into pneumonia) that I should bring him back in on Saturday. Called Saturday because he still has an high fever and was told by the person who answered the phone that they didn’t have anything and that I could make an appointment for Monday. I did not have a great experience which is very disappointing because I’ve heard nothing but good things. My first visit I sat in the waiting room for over 30 minutes with a crying baby because they “didn’t check me in all the way.” My second visit I sat in the room for over 45 minutes, maybe a scheduling issue?
