I would definitely recommend 1st Choice ER because the service is exceptional! The staff is very friendly and compassionate, not to mention that the wait time is no where near what it would be in a hospital ER and it's very clean. I'm so glad to have been referred here. I was in and out in less than 2 hours so that I could get home and rest. Highly recommended!

Took my son on a Saturday. Very thorough exam including strep, mono and flu tests. All negative. Gave him tamiflu just in case. Said viral soar throat would last 2-5 days. Nailed it - felt much better on day 5.

Last night we took our son to the ER for stitches due to a face laceration. The staff was very friendly and efficient and had him taken care of in 30 minutes or so. I would have liked to see a detailed description of the work done (number of stitches, anesthetics given (if any), pain killers, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial given, etc). The doctor, nurse and front desk staff were very helpful. The easy-read instructions are ok, but lack the level of personalization for the particular case, too generic in my opinion. My parents kept telling me about First Choice ER but I never had a reason to go until a couple of weeks ago when my fever got to 103.4. I got to FCER early in the morning and was brought back almost immediately. Great service and friendly staff, I will not go anywhere else now.

While visiting family in the Katy area last week, we had to bring our 22-month-old daughter to First Choice ER for a bad ear infection. We made our appointment online, and they were ready for us with no wait when we arrived. The facility was clean and inviting, with a special exam room for children decorated with a beautiful mural. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and in less than 20 minutes we were out the door on our way to the pharmacy, relieved to have a solution to our little girl's discomfort. I visited First Choice ER on 11/10/14 after a car accident I had over the weekend. They took me to the back to start X-rays even before I had all of the paperwork filled out. Everyone was super nice and very attentive and made me feel so comfortable, like I'd known them for years. Super personable and I especially loved Nurse Meme and the x-ray tech on staff. Thanks for the great treatment!

I went in to FCER with horrible pains in my upper right abdomen. I was hoping it was indigestion but you know how that ends up. It was gallstones. FCER saw me imediately, no wait. They did a CT and an ultrasound. They also noted that one of the stones was impacted so they took care of everything. Got the ambulance and got me admitted to the hospital. Excellent service from the receptionist, to the receiving personnel and to the doctor's attention and care,my son was very happy too. I would recommend this site 100% based on my experience today. I went to First Choice a Katy about two weeks ago with severe vertigo. The nurses and doctor were excellent and quickly attended to all my needs. I could not have asked for a more positive experience.
