Last weekend my son's girlfriend went in, she had been fine all day then suddenly was in extreme pain. They drew her labs, started an IV, and got her some medicine within a short period of us being there. We did have to wait for an ultrasound tech but that was only about 40 minutes, not too bad since it was almost midnight on a Saturday. Brought my son in at 9:15 on a Friday night for an x-ray after a baseball injury. Back at home in less than an hour with the diagnosis, CD of the x-ray, soft cast, and directions to see the orthopedist the coming week. Everyone was attentive and helpful -- and got us back home so quickly!

Thank goodness for First Choice. When my husband experienced an unexpected encounter between his head and a utility knife while visiting family in Friendswood, we were forced to seek emergency assistance in a town we were unfamiliar. The staff was calm, efficient, and supremely professional. We waited only a few moments to be seen, and were out the door in 20 minutes after having received excellent care. I am so grateful to First Choice for making a scary situation significantly less so.

I came in because I had an ear infection, I saw the Dr. for maybe 5 minutes and he checked my ears, diagnosed me with a middle ear infection prescribed me the WRONG medicine! They told me I would be feeling better later that day and would be able to return to work the next day. WRONG. I went to an ENT after 48 hours to give the medicine time to work. The ENT diagnosed me with an outer ear infection, and my ear was 50% swollen shut! So going to this Emergency Room was a waste of my time. The ENT gave me the proper medication ... read more

Staff was very fast, courteous, friendly, and thorough. Set up a specialist post visit while i was there. CT on property is also very convenient.

These people went above and beyond. I came in with extreme nausea and vomiting along with bad abdominal pains. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and confident that they were going to give me proper treatment, and they were very quick to get me on the bed and begin treatment. Very friendly staff. I came in after a bad accident on my mountain bike which left my knee missing quite a bit of skin (it was like - is that my knee cap and bone?!?...). My accident was in Hitchcock and I live in Friendswood. I'm glad I drove home to this ER to get taken care of. The whole staff was AWESOME: the Admin who checked me in, the lady x-ray tech who took my vitals (who was great to talk to while this was going down), to the male nurse and Dr. Benson.
