Wonderfully fresh, creative, tasty food, good atmosphere. Terrific wine list. Good service. It's the neighborhood restaurant you want in your neighborhood. Lamb stew is a small plate....order 4. :-) Fabulous! Enchiladas amazing.

I found Firefly with a Yelp search for "quiet restaurants." I can't say it was all that quiet but I was thrilled to discover a Rosh Hashana-themed menu. It was the perfect way to celebrate seeing an old friend visiting SF. We'll definitely return; grateful for several vegetarian options. And the buckwheat crepe dessert was amazing!
