Fire Mountain is putting many of their employees in grave danger. They are not allowing server access to employees at home, therefore working from home is impossible, even for folks whose jobs are entirely done online. As in any workplace, many employees are likely high-risk or live with those who are high-risk, and Fire Mountain preventing people to do their jobs in safety is WRONG, even if they are somehow technically following the rules. Fire Mountain Gems and Beads is so adverse to work from home that they are willing to put their employees at risk than allow secure VPN remote access. For a local to Oregon business I really expected more from them. Until this changes I will be sourcing any of my jewelry supplies from other merchants that ACTUALLY care about their employees! The owners should be ashamed of themselves!
