Michael suggests that you don't talk at him, but talk to him at a 17 year old level about what he needs to do to keep his teeth healthy. He felt like there was something wrong with him and he felt as if he was being lectured. Everyone was nice and friendly. As his Mother, I would like for him to leave your office with a new view about how important his smile is.
