A friend and I were in from Ohio and it was suggested by a friend in Muscatine (sp?) that we might give the Filling Station a try. There is a converted station turned restaurant in Wooster, Ohio about an hour from me that I'm fond of, the Filling Station just blew that one away! Good service, GREAT food, (I had the cheese curds and the three quarter pound tenderloin) and an awesome decor combined for a fantastic experience. If and when I make it back to Davenport the Filling Station will be one of my first stops.
Remember when The Filling Station was super good?? Sadly, this QC staple has gone way downhill. We stopped there for lunch today...our food was flavorless and not hot. Our server YELLED each time she appeared at our table...super annoying. The manager did nothing but yell....at the Cubs game, her employees, etc. She might want to step up the professionalism a bit. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, wonderful food with great prices! We really enjoyed ourselves.

Service was great food tasted good and was unique. And then my husband and I were hit with food poisoning on our trip back to Wisconsin, it was so rough we ended up getting a hotel for the night about an hour and a half from our home we just couldn’t make it 😕
I liked the service even though when we wanted more drinks she already had are check ready with out even asking us if we wanted anything else I didn’t like the fries but it was very clean place with nice people
Great service and the best blue cheese burger I've had.
