We closed with Fidelity and were initially frustrated by a $200 charge to hold our property tax funds—especially since they also earned interest on that money. It felt unfair, and we were pretty upset. However, Fidelity followed up, took our concerns seriously, and made things right. We appreciate the effort they made to resolve the issue.
We closed with Fidelity. I still can’t believe they charged us $200 to hold property tax money for us. I would have much rather received money and gained interest on it myself and paid then let Fidelity keep and not only charge us $200 to hold but also make interest off of it. I’ll honestly probably be pissed off about this $200 for awhile, absolutely bogus.
We closed with this company today, and it was one of the worst experiences ever. There was a delay with the wire transfer, and I was doing everything possible to speed up the process. However, the closer was extremely rude and had a very bad attitude. I understand that I am not their direct client and that the delay was due to miscommunication, but the way they handled it made me feel as if I had committed a crime. This is not the way to treat a buyer or earn business. Peace to you!
We closed with Fidelity National Title in the summer. We had some problems with their organization. They forgot to send us the deed; I called back a few months later and received a lot of attitude from Pam who tried to shift the blame to USPS. I then spoke to Katie who helped us out and sent us the deed that was still in their office. In the beginning, they also automatically assigned us an agent from another office who never responded.
