I love FHN. I have always had great service and care there, I appreciate that it is local and the caregivers are very down to earth and help with whatever they can. They have worked me or my family in to their already tight schedules several times and when a family member needed extra care from an accident the physician gave me his personal cell n took mine to check in on the patient that night at my house and the next morning. Overall, FHN is garbage, which I always knew to some extent, but really realized once I moved to another state and got better care. Then, when I became a nurse, I got an even more clear picture of how badly I was cared for. However, there are some real gems. Dr. Timothy Jessen (allergist) and Dr. Farhan Khan (nephrology, IM) are AMAZING providers and I personally think they are top notch in their individual specialties and as human beings. Tryed to fill a prescription today with my doctor, Dr.Woods of Savanna Ill.I have been taking Tramadol for chronic pain and legs cramps for several years.Doc. Woods refuzed to refill it til I get an MRI.I asked him to refill it for 30 days to give me time to get the MRI. He said NO!He could have given me notice before I ran out! But, he did not.So now I am without my medication for several weeks til I find another Doctor.I will NOT go back to Woods. I don't need a doctor who don't care about his patience.
Won't answer the phone, bills for canceled appointments, terrible customer service, never returns voicemails. A terrible terrible network. I waited over 8 months to try to see someone here and now they're billing me for canceling it in advance. Don't waste your time or money people. Monroe clinic is so much better.

The FHN GI department is topnotch. They are welcoming, knowledgeable, trained well, and above all, really care about your comfort. From the time you arrive to the moment you leave, you're taken care of and your time is valued. Thanks for taking care of me time and time again.
