Established in 1992. Z-Fever is the brain child of mine. I am Doug Mitchell. When I was in college. I couldn't afford to pay people to work on my junker (a 1976 Datsun 280Z) that broke down all the time. So I used the learning skills I developed to buy books and study up on cars and how they worked. Always fair. Works on a problem until a solution is found. (Doug remember my AC?)
Screwed me out of $200 just to tighten down my intake filter and hose. There been a lot of shady stories coming from this place unfortunately.
Business response:
Your work order states that we charged you 2 hours of labor (@ $89 p/hr) to install the cold air intakes that YOU supplied to us. It is on a 370Z. We also had to supply you a coupler for $15. Was that job not done properly?
This shop can not complete a job on time and correctly. Would never recomend them even to someone I don't like!!!!
Absolute nightmare to deal with. Took me forever to get my work done and I know somebody that has had their car there for 8 months and they refuse to fix their work that they gave a warranty on! Two thumbs down.
These guys should not be trusted with your Z car. They have no clue what they're doing.

You have never been a customer. It might be cool to you to throw negative comments because you think you know... but it really isn't! This is our livelihood and our career. 99% of our "Real" customers love us and recommend us. It is awful that you would actively try to hurt our business.
Bought a vq37vhr from them. The pistons was rusted to the walls. So they sent me another one they honed the living hell out of it and it was trash. After all the pain was over I could have bought brand new block.

A friend of mine and employee of you guys , showed me my way to z fever 5 years ago , the staff Is awesome here, all real car guys, with first hand knowledge and experience , I wouldn't think twice if I needed a tune or a full build and install, I know when I pick it up it'll be 100% , much love , 92 240sx hatch ca24det with 15psi thanks for the tuned ecu
These guys are awesome! They have been overly helpful with answered questions I've had along the way building my S14 Sr20det 240sx. They do everything right the first time and have the greatest customer service. The day I pulled up to get my car dyno tuned These guys welcomed me in to the shop showed a great deal of respect for me and my car,and even showed me around with the recent on going projects,they got some cool stuff in the works.
